This is the second time this season Candynce Boney has garnered both honors in one week.

For the fourth time this year, Candynce Boney has earned Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors. This is also her second mention for Player of the Week. The award was given after Boney recorded a stellar week against her Atlantic 10 foes of George Washington and Temple on the road.

Boney won all of her matches during the two game road trip. She and partner Masha Pozar easily defeated both of their No. 1 doubles foes, 8-3. She also beat her George Washington singles opponent, 6-2, 6-1 and her Temple singles rival, 6-2, 6-3 from the second flight.

Boney and Pozar lead the team in doubles wins this season with 21. Boney also leads the team with 15 singles wins.

The Minutewomen are back in action this Wednesday, April 9 at home for the final home match of the year against Quinnipiac. Wednesday will be senior day for the Minutewomen and the match is set to start at 3:00 p.m. on the outdoor tennis courts, weather permitting.
