PRESS RELEASE LAKE LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, DEC. 5, 2015 USTA Intermountain announced its 2015 Annual Awards winners at an awards luncheon and ceremony held Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, at the Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa in Henderson, Nevada. Each year, USTA Intermountain honors individuals and organizations that work to promote and develop the growth of tennis in the Intermountain Section of the United States Tennis Association. Intermountain’s six Districts (Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming) annually nominate candidates for the following recognitions: Developmental Coach of the Year; Organization of the Year; Family of the Year; Barbara Clark/Diversity & Inclusion Community Service Award; David Freed (lifetime service) Award; Jan Dowse (exemplary volunteer/staff member) Award; Youth Tennis Ambassador; and Nikos Ridle (sportsmanship) Award.
