The ITA Fall Closed Junior Sectional Championships was held November 7-11 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This event is southern Nevada’s largest junior tourney of the year. This year’s championships hosted over 400 players from each of the six Intermountain states. After the last point was played and the final results were tallied, southern Nevada’s players won five of the eight singles divisions, reached the finals of two other singles divisions, and won six of the eight doubles divisions.
USTA Nevada would like to thank all the players and parents who came down for the event, the officials and volunteers who helped make the event possible, and the following facilities for the use of their courts: Darling Tennis Center, Lorenzi Racquet Club, The Meadows School, Red Rock Country Club, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and the Westgate Hotel & Casino.
